Antokolsky, the celebrated sculpture, was a friend of Repin and a fellow student at the Imperial Academy. Azarevich, a student of Petersburg University, was destined to become a lawyer, historian and author of books on the history of Russian law. This drawing was made while Repin worked at the Academy. |
